Last night at sundown, our Jewish brothers and sisters began celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year (today begins year 5775). In honor of this our prayer today was the Shema:
Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
